Within R.E children will learn about festivals and places of worship in Christianity and other religions.
They will study stories from religious traditions, signs and symbols, artefacts and music. Christian ideas and attitudes are reflected in the life of the School.
Respect and understanding for the beliefs of others are promoted as part of our learning. The School has adopted the Derbyshire Agreed Syllabus for the teaching of R.E.
Assemblies take place daily and are a valued part of our school day where we gather together for collective worship.
Our assemblies focus on a range of themes including religious stories, British values and P.S.H.E.
We regularly visit the local Methodist Church to take part in Easter and Christmas services.
